    Why can't Guzman win the IBF title?

    IBO title only on the line for defending Allakhverdiev; if Guzmán wins, IBO title becomes vacant. - Take from Boxrec...

      nah that can't be right.

      but I'm confused by the thread title. IBF I think Peterson has right?

      I think it's a vacant WBA belt that's on the line for Guzman, that's the important one. The hell cares about the IBO belt?

              I honestly don't know what the IBO is that sounds a lot like something Danny Green would own. WBA at least I heard of that

                      Soz was meant to say the IBO at the top. I can't keep up with all these various titles these days and all this eliminator rubbish

                                  You're right though I've found at least two articles that mentioned the IBO belt cannot be won by Guzman but with no explination as to why that is. Strange.
