well he has the light middleweight belt and both canelo and martinez want to fight him at 154 where he has the belt. So If your the champion and so called p4p king whats the problem? So stepping in the ring now automatically your are not a coward, then I guess he is a fighter with no balls or heart.

I agree. I have no problem with Floyd not fighting at 154 if he gives up the belt he won from Cotto but he hangs on to it. As for being a coward a pro boxer is held to a much higher standard of bravery than the guy on the street. If you are not extremely brave and tough you should not be a pro boxer. Mayweather holds two tittles in two weights classes. He owes it to the sport and the contenders at those weights to say which tittle he is going to defend and when and give the other tittle up. Otherwise he should just announce his retirement. If Mayweather can so easily fight at 140 as the thread starter says why did he not make 144 as per contract for Marquez? He looks very lean and hard when he weighs in at 147 these days. I think his 140 pound days are over.
