Like i said maybe thats all hes claiming. A while back it was widely reported Pac only makes 6 mil per fight then many argued its not truehe makes 28 mil a fight now thats 22 mil more and he isnt the promoter so im not saying cotto will make 22 mil more but at least 10 is very doable

Cotto used to make 3-4 million per fight on HBO (even non PPV fights). If HBO would not cover the full purse, Arum would compensate Cotto the extra money. Cotto had a pretty juicy contract with Arum

When they make more than 3 million for a fight, than they can say they're in that league Cotto's highest payday was 8 million and PPV upside for Mayweather. Probably the only time he's made double figures in millions. He'll make over 2 million for this fight with PPV and gate.
