Kellerman prompted him to do it, and the way he said it made it sound like the bad refereeing was the story of the fight. Good thing Guerrero shut it down before Max let them sign off on that note.

Yeah, Max really was siding with Berto Saturday night. I felt RJJ Jr. was keeping it a little more real. He was acknowledging the fact that they were BOTH using dirty tactics.

Gotta say, I was completely wrong on Guerrero. Good job by him. He answered the questions I had about his size and his ability to take a punch. Good win for him!

Berto lost, ref thought it was fine, Guerrero thought it was fine......sounds legit to me.

Roy was all on Berto's nuts though. Every time Berto landed something, he'd talk about how Guerrero can't eat those punches or he'll end up on the canvas. He was saying Berto was out fighting Guerrero on the ropes at times when Berto would throw one or two punches, and than Guerrero would make Berto eat 4-5 punches. Roy was favoring Berto I thought.

Still can't believe how much bias the entire crew was for Berto. It was utterly disgusting. I've said it before, Merchant is the only decent person on HBO right now.

And who chooses the replays? Because I remember at least on two occasions where Guerrero won an entire round (completely one sided round) and they'd show a replay of Berto throwing an uppercut. I mean wtf.

Too bad Berto acted so poorly following the fight. He got beat to a pulp and all he complained about was the referee. Merchant nailed it; you would have thought the Ref kicked his azz. Next time leave the sunglasses off Berto to show both eyes closed because you did so well.
