RG wins the fight regardless of KD's, but I will agree that the referee was horrible. Both of RG's KD's were from Holding Berto's head with 1 hand while hitting with the other. If Mayweather gets KD's like that he's Crucified and burned, but for some reason its ok for RG to do it....thats lame. other than that I think it was a tough fight that took some guts on both ends and Merchant shouldnt have 1 negative WORD to say about two Warriors that Brawled for 36 minutes when he wouldnt have lasted 1 minute on his best Day. But again, he's more out to steal the show with his Old Lame analysis oppose to Praising to Men who Put their Life on the Line. I really can say he needs to go....One way or another,LOL....

I don't always agree with Larry Merchant but I love the hell out of the guy. He's old-school and when we lose him we lose a legend who has been covering sports and boxing - well - for more than 60 years.

Berto was holding Guerrero when he knocked him down both times , and I love Merchant and his straight up brutal honesty , he was right Berto was complaining after the fight which he does have a legit beef cuz the ref was terrible but the ghost without a doubt still whipped his ass man , give the dude credit

berto was caught off guard, he was thinking that RG was going to box him but instead had the fight brought to him. he started figuring him out too late and really, just got beat up.

I just hate when people complain about a dirty fight knowing both fighters were doing their share amount of dirty tactics.

Berto fought with tremendous heart Saturday night, but was acting like a sore loser during his post-fight interview. Guerrero absolutely fought dirty, but so did Berto. For every hold that the Ghost put on Berto, Berto put one on the Ghost. For every low blow Guerrero landed, Berto landed a rabbit punch. The fight was a brawl and he got outworked, plain and simple. He should take his loss like a champion and move forward.

The more I look at the pictures of the fight, the more Berto looked like a Gargoyle Fish Monster from a 1950's B SCI-FI movie at the end.

Kellerman prompted him to do it, and the way he said it made it sound like the bad refereeing was the story of the fight. Good thing Guerrero shut it down before Max let them sign off on that note.
