Why do we only ever hear about boxers who end up broke?

ESPN 30 for 30 had a pretty good episode detailing how and why so many athletes go broke.

If you've only been hearing about boxers going broke and not other athletes then it's probably because you've just been focusing on boxing a lot more. There's stories all the time about athletes of other sports having financial issues.
