I'd be fine with him with him fighting anyone in the top ten for more than one fight..the ortiz fight to me made me lose all respect for mayweather which I had initially lost with his refusal to fight williams but he gained bad little by little..I used to breathe and eat Mayweather boxing but the moment you put that iconic status aside and look at the facts there is much to be desired from the boxer.

That's how I look at it as well. Guerrero had no skills. His first KD was BS. He was dirty the entire fight. The only way he could win was to press Berto against the ropes and hold him. Berto had quicker hands, and landed at a higher percentage.
I hope they do a rematch with Kenny Bayless as the ref to give Berto a fair shot. Cause this ref is a complete idiot.Hating ass Cubans.. I guess they rather watch boring ass fighters like Lara and Rigo.. They wish Cuban fighters had the heart and will to fight the way Guerrero and Berto fought!! GTFOH ****en clowns!!!Quote:

I'm a Mayweather hater, but what he says is true. The only thing Guerrero would get would be a nice fat check after his beat down. Sure Guerrero walked through some tough shots by Berto, but Floyd is 100x better than Berto. It'd be over by the 6th round.... and that's that I'd want Guerrero to win if those two fought.Comment

Its not about "carrying the weight.". Its about the manner in which he won. Was Guerrero a "natural featherweight?". Probably not. But it simply defies all logic that a slick, southpaw technician that was capable of making 126lbs just a few years ago, turns into a bull as a welterweight. The history was the Ghost had a hard time making weight, took a year off following shoulder surgery and came back bigger. Most boxers put on weight when they start reaching 30. And like I said, the Ghost has the frame to carry the weight.
He doesn't look like someone on roids. He not overly buffed (like Berto) and I thought he came into this fight a little soft.Comment

Dude, you know what they mean by that! They just meant random testing during training camp. Not year round! You're just trying to bring in the silly technicalities when you know exactly what they meant by that.Prove me wrong then..because OST means random testing all year long..boxing does not have that..any fool can roid up for 6 months take 3 months to get clean and not have a single positive test..google dr. Goodman and read her opinion of USADA's b.s. testing..do the same for Winky Wright..who fought a dirty quillin..Comment

I'm not wishing to be offensive but I don't think you know exactly what you're talking about. Statements like yours cause me to look at boxrec. Guerrero had 18 KOsout of 26 fights at 126......... And Salido was caught in an after-fight test with a"prohibited substance"..... making it an NC......This was a great fight, probably FOTY, but let's call a spade a spade. Berto was fighting against two guys in there. The ref was horrible. I wanna see a rematch.
Also, something is definitely up with Guerrero. This guy was mauled to death by Salido at featherweight, yet he was physically wayyyyyy stronger than Berto tonight. Also, Ghost couldn't crack an egg at 126, yet he drops Berto twice. I have no proof, but something wasn't right about what I saw from Guerrero tonight because I know his history.
I know that the internet encourages liars, but, peope who post in here are generally fans, many of whom want to learn, and would, I'm sure, appreciate real knowledge, that they can believe, without doubting everything.Comment

Some of you people in here are straight up idiots complaining about the fight and ref and saying guerrero sucks. Guerrero dominated a fight that many on here he couldn't and would get knocked out. The people that are complaining are one that hate on guerrero for calling out their boyfriend/lover PBF before and now want to discredit him. It's pathetic. Give guerrero his just due, he dominated Berto and beat him at his own game and Guerrero showed a world class chin when he needed to. At the start of the fight you could see in Bertos face he thought he was going to bull and dominate the fight, shaking his head when guerrerro was first tagging him like it wasn't hurting. I love fights like this. Guerrero is the real deal. Plus knock downs or not guerrero would have won anyways. So all you on here hating on Guerrero can go suck it, or better yet go suck on Floyd which yall do anyways. Lol lol lol lol lolComment

The man is 35, Roy Jones was the most gifted boxer in my opinion but even he had to slow down..Floyd isn't a kid anymore and clearly you are a couch potato athlete or under 30 because nobody and I mean nobody has the same speed or elusiveness at 35 they had at 30...every great fighter declines floyd for all his gifts is no exception. Floyd himself said he's now a 154lb fighter...he also stated he won't fight manny at 147...again get off his nuts...I used to be just like you in terms of swearing by everything Floyd...then I woke up and saw the game for it is "the game"Floyd doesn't belong @ 154 and he still would smash everybody up there but @ 147 there's a reason why Manny stutters every time Floyd's name is brought up. @ 54 the gloves a bigger and Floyd maxes out @ 146. I agree with Sr. Floyd could probably make 140 if he wanted to. How is age a factor when he almost stopped Cotto in the 12th round fighting beyond his weight class. Fake ass boxing fans are the worst.Comment
