Sorry but I don't live in the past, I respect all fighters but I made a comparison on two active boxers who use the same style, and one uses it better in my opinion.

So Broners win over Demarco was better than Floyds over Cotto?

Broner is almost a spitting image of the Mayweather type style. By the way the poster that threw Manfredy's name in there with Genaro and Corrales, just stop while your ahead.

For the past couple of years safety has come first for Floyd. Broner fights with defense but when he sees he can get a guy out of there he goes for the kill. Mayweather could have done this in many of his fights but did not want to risk getting hit doing it. He could of easily stopped guys like Corley, Baldomir, Judah if he would of stayed in the pocket and fought like Broner fights and counter his opponents in he middle of the ring. Even Hatton didn't belong in the ring that long with Mayweather. Stop being hung up on what Mayweather was, he is currently ranked #1 P4P but yet you bring up the old him because currently Broner uses that Philly Shell style better than he does and is more effective doing so
Jesus Christ...I am officially done posting in any thread having to do with Broner. It's just not worth trying anymore. The level of ****** is literally hurting my head.

floyd was/is more exciting, more dazzling and a much more complete boxer

broner likes to rely on counter-punching waay too much
floyd leads better and more often

Broner doesn't even use the shoulder roll better. He's open body shots when he tries it.

For some strange reason he likes to keep his mouth open as he's fighting. This is poor form that is begging for a broken jaw.

This is what Im talking about:
Broner is honestly a better version of Mayweather. Instead of fighting a safe fight to secure the win he knows when to turn up the heat and get his opponent out of there. He has good defense, speed, and can turn up his offense when needed. Props to Broner, he might be one of the most annoying boxers but his skills are top notch
He uses the style better than Floyd, he has a killer instinct that is missing in Floyd. To me his is a better version based on both looking alike in the ring. Like I said, he could have easily boxed Demarco and not stayed in the pocket to win a UD. The trend, based on his last couple of fights excluding Deleon, is that he will stay in the pocket, and go in for the kill when he finds openings and starts landing his shots. Will his legacy be as good as Floyd's? Who knows, but currently he is more exciting and more effective using that style.
