Like I said, he could have easily boxed Demarco and not stayed in the pocket to win a UD. The trend, based on his last couple of fights excluding Deleon, is that he will stay in the pocket, and go in for the kill when he finds openings and starts landing his shots. Will his legacy be as good as Floyd's? Who knows, but currently he is more exciting and more effective using that style.
I like Broner but the minutes he fights a ELITE level fighter in the higher weight classes like Floyd has...you will see his style change.

Oh and if Broner keeps fighting with his mouth open, he is gonna get his jaw broken.

Many fighter have copy Floyd philly shell defense but that doesn't make him Floyd...Can Broner adjust when things are not going his way in the ring...We've seen the greats like Ward and Floyd do it.

I don't think Broner has Floyd ring IQ..and I would pick the lower weight version of Hoya, Hatton and Cotto to BEAT Broner soundly.

I bet the thread starter is also going to say Broner copying the way Floyd sits on the stool looks better than Floyd himself doing it

yea I thought that was strange. It's like he goes back to the corner between rounds thinking what did Floyd do that one time when he was in a similar circumstance

Can't agree with you..mayweathers win over coralles and gatti alone mean more than the whole resume broner has so far..and the way mayweather beat them.

This is more of a divide type of post knowing most Floyd fan are fans of Broner. Hoping they bash each other. Floyd is the present and Broner is the future it's just that simple.

Were people really that impressed with Broner? Demarco was so lethargic in there, I mean we knew that coming into the fight. The guy was just sticking his head down and letting Broner punch him. 135 lbs is a weak division, and that was their #1 guy. To even compare Broner to Mayweather is an insult. Broner should just move up to 140 and take on the names there. It's not like he couldn't move up, Broners pretty big for a lightweight. Little off topic but, a 140 lb tournament would be sweet.
