DeMarco didn't show up tonight, he stood there for half the fight not throwing any punches. Valero would have chewed that man up and spit him out had he just stood there like he did tonight.

My point was more that people are ready to label Broner as the next Mayweather like they are with Ward and 3G. I saw him eat some shots from weaker opponent tonight and he got touched up more than he has in a while. If he moves up in weight again, the guy is going to be in trouble, DeMarco had him hurt once or twice and he was a smaller guy than Broner is.

***Great win for Broner but I would hold off on that future of boxing stuff.

Burns v broner is a much better fight than this one, burns wont sit in the pocket and get uppercutted and body shotted to death. Ricky's a good fighter.

I'd call it a brisk walk.

A shame. Such a weak division aswell, could have cleaned it out without breaking a sweat.

It's the logical fight to make next.

I'm not so sure Frank Warren will be looking to make that fight.

Yes he was, he ate a straight left and immediately started to backpeddle after he had been pressing the action all round. The guy had a knot under his right eye after the fight.....people will try to say he wasn't touched and he is invincible.........you notice I bet on Broner to beat DeMarco; however I see that is a matter of time before he gets shut down.

He is so far from Floyd when Floyd was his age that it's not even funny - I just can't see how people think he is on that same level. The guy should not move up in weight again or he will start to lose.

I told my girl Broner would either win by TKO9 or RTD9, I was off by one round. The pace, style and the systematic deconstruction Broner unleashed happened according how I felt it would. Give Broner his due credit, "Future of boxing" is a bit of a generally vague statement and can't be said yet, with that being said.........

Broner is elite. His ring IQ, skills and ability are on par with Ward and Mayweather. This fight reminded me a bit of Ward-Dawson, because like I said in a previous post yesterday, when a southpaw is deconstructed, they are more vulnerable then you could imagine. If a an elite boxer with timing, tremendous ring IQ figures out the angles, they will make an elite southpaw look like a bum within mere minutes. I want to see Bronewr take out Ricky Burns next, who is a good fighter, but would be utterly outclassed by Broner.

He did, you don't start retreating after pressing a guy unless you felt his power. Recheck rounds 2 through 4, you'll see.

                      You're reaching.

He clearly was not hurt at any point in the fight, or even buzzed.

I actually agree with the rest of your post in the sense I'm not sold on him like I was Mayweather at the same age though.

I do see a lot of potential in him though and he's certainly improving at a rapid pace.
