Froch could beat Ward, he has the power and determination too. Whether he will or will ever get a rematch is another story.
To me he seems alot more reserved, more accurate and defensively has tightened up a bit. The commentators said he was doing lots of bike riding (25 miles a day), maybe this has helped with his recent form.

Put Froch in there with Ward or Dirrell and the exact same things will happen to him that happened in those fights.


Froch is a very good fighter but he has flaws and those flaws haven't changed nor has he really done anything about them. Put him in with guys that can actually expose them and that will get seen~

Thank you for a very insightful post. That's what I wanted to say, he actually did get better as a fighter.

More reserved, more calm, better accuracy, and better defense overall along with better movement.

Froch is not Evander Holyfield, and he will never be ranked ahead of Evander, but Holyfield did point out that he himself actually hit his true prime after Bowe.

Some of you are misunderstanding what people meant by saying Froch got better.

Don't mean that he will BEAT WARD, we meant that he definitely have gotten better than the version that fought Ward.
