Comments Thread For: Khan: If Brook Beats Alexander, Then I'll Fight Him!

Brook v Alexander should be a good fight. I'd been saying for a long time that Brook will decision Alexander as long as the officiating it unbiased. Khan v Brook on the other hand is a 50/50 fight. Khan is at a higher skill level, throws better combinations and has superior handspeed and footwork. Brook on the other hand has that unmistakable equaliser, the power. He could knock Khan out (only way he beats him) if Khan can survive the early left right combos, he outpoints Brook.Comment

Khan may have a higher profile, but he's not a star, much less a "draw". He can't draw flies. For his last fight they gave away more tickets than they sold, for god sake. Khan was paid double what the gate was. It's not as if he has thousands of fans travelling from the UK to see him fight. And he ain't a huge draw in the UK because most British boxing fans, rightly, see him as conceited. He's a legend in his own lunch-time, let's get it right. If Kell makes a big splash in the Alexander fight, he can do what he wants. Who does Khan think he is imposing conditions on others? He's lost his last two fights at 140 lbs, the last one by brutal knockout. Kell convincingly beating Alexander trumps anything Khan has done to date, so let's see how it plays out.Comment

Brook-Khan will be in the UK, not the U.S. What he draws in the U.S is irrelevant.
In the UK, Khan is the draw and Khan is the star.Comment

thats one thing i disagree with. khan has already fought the best fighters around his weight class. he has won some and lost some, but brook hasnt fought any of the top fighters at all.Comment

It used to be Brook needs Khan, but now I think both need each other. Khan is still a high profile name and in his prime, and would be the biggest name on Kell's record. Khan needs Brook to be a credible win to get back into the upper tier of the division. Even a domination of Molina won't get him back to where he was, he needs a Brook or a Mattyse, or a Olsegun to get back to where he was.Comment

Khan's haters don't even know what they are talking about anyway.
Khan was a far bigger draw than Bradley and offered him a 50/50 deal which Bradley refused. Khan would probably offer Brook the same kind of deal if he had a title.
Say what you want about Khan, but he isn't afraid to make sacrifices in order to make the fights the fans want to see.Comment
