Why some people are biased and can't see the whole picture? If somebody is going to complain about low blows then Moreno was also hitting Mares consistently below the waist (in fact both were very even in that as you could appreciate replaying the fight without being biased). How many of those blow of both boxers were intentional is difficult to say. Mares was pursuing and attacking relentlessly Moreno and the Panama native many times was using his hands and arms to put Mares' head down (that also contributes to get low blows). The referee warned Chemo few times and finally in the 11th round a point was deducted to Moreno for continuing doing it. In the knock down, there was certainly a punch and I believed that Chemo tried to hug the lower body of Mares but all his momentum couldn't avoid the fall. Mares won beyond the KD and point deduction on the basis of punch volume (total punches) and power punches. Abner was more active, has the determination and hunger to win although I would never agree with the ******** score of 120-106 but I would say to the whiners and haters to stop crying.

This was a great fight, the sixth was an absolute gem. First 60 all mares, 90 seconds all Moreno, then prob best punch of fight and final 30 of mares trying to follow up and end it. Moreno was all class in defeat. It was foul filled on both sides, I only have a problem with the way the ref took a point. There were many times early on when both went low, and the punch to the back. They both shoulve been deducted a point early, If you didn't see half a minute in what an awkward match up this was, looked alot like forest/mayorga. There was a low blow from mares very shortly after the point deduction where it most certainly should have been evened out, even fairly firm said that, you either penalize both or neither in a fight like that. Regardless we all should be talkin Showtime and the bantamweights because goddamn have we got some unbelievable action. Mares should accept the role as the villain, embrace it, good guys tend to be boring(see Ward), the bad guys are always in demand. Cue up a tirade interview, you don't want nonito, you demand he get his top rank protected azz in the ring for an overdue beating.(disclaimer: nonito ko2)

This was a really good fight between these two fighters last night. I give props to Mares on his victory last night he showed the heart of a champion. He really did surprise me how he beat Moreno. Mares is really that good I didn't think he would pull it off but he did. Moreno needs to go down to 118 and fight there. He didn't look bad at 122 he gave everything he had to Mares it just wasn't enough. I scored the fight 115 to 112 for Mares.

I officially hate Abner Mares. He is the dirtiest fighter in the entire sport, constant low blows and kidney punches and full on charges with his head, and his opponents are the ones who are penalized. I cannot stand this, Golden Boy has screwed over fighter after fighter with this crap.

And that's without even mentioning the ridiculous scorecards that prove Moreno lost the fight before it even started. Once again, I look forward to a fight and find myself disgusted afterwards. Makes me question why I bother watching boxing.

Stick to watching football. You are a foo who likes boring, coward fighters. Get this in your big head : Mexicans are great fighters.
