Loved what Pauli said about the 120-106 card. "Its too bad the the judge missed the fight" I couldn't said it better. Regardless of anything, that judge should be suspended for at least a year.

people don't realize that it's not easy to recover from repeated low blows and kidney shots. Moreno wasn't the same so Mares basically fight a weaken fighter.


it was pretty clear the low blows were hurting Moreno after he landed about 5 in the 1st 3 rounds.

Well, you heard him in the post fight interview (if you watched it) he wants Donaire. There is no stay away in Mares, he wants to fight.

He was hurt more than once by moreno, a light hitter at a lower weight class. Mares also faded a bit late. Can't see how he'll keep vertical against nonito. You saw how moreno was landing those right hooks off the ropes? Any one of those from donaire would have starched mares.

I give him credit, moreno is world class and i thought he'd win. But that game plan, apparently the only one mares knows, we'll get him killed against donaire.

When it's midsection? You ain't fooling no one smart over that.

As far as back is turned I've only seen it once and in this fight due to Moreno turning.
