this guy is already living in the past. broner hasn't defeated anyone worth mentioning and he's already thinking he's achieved great things. what a fucking joke. demarco has won 4 of his last 5 bouts by KO/TKO. depending on broner's performance, his words might bite him in the ass

Kellerman compared him to Robinson in round 4 then he compared him to Duran in round 5. Linares was also compared to De la Hoya and Nonito Donaire in that fight.

lol man Max says some wild ish sometimes, I wonder if he really believes it or he just likes to troll. He does tend to flex a lot of boxing knowledge muscle sometimes just for the heck of it, reminds me of a few posters here...

Remember he was calling Paul Williams the modern day Henry Armstrong?

Timing an exhausted beat up linares is a whole different animal. timing is his way to counteract broner and he hasnt shown the ability to time and hurt fast fighters in the past. demarco is going to have to come with volume this fight.

I think the biggest edge that Broner will have is speed. That will give Demarco all kinds of fits. I see Broner winning by UD or late stoppage.

Broner by RTD after 8 rounds. Broner will impose his speed, power and timing on Demarco, and won't give him space to work, Demarco will gradually get dominated and after about the 8th round, his corner pulls the plug, or he quits, similarly to the Valero fight. Demarco I think is good enough to go into a prevent defense so to speak and survive without getting knocked out, and has a good enough chin to take Broner's shots (at least for a little while). Now if Demarco is charging forward recklessly which I doubt, he gets sparked out. I just don't see Demarco being able to keep Broner at distance long enough to keep a sustained offense going, Broner will outbox him coming forward so to speak, like he did Escobedo.

                  1. Because look where he's gotten so far, a loss here will push him back.

                  2. It's going to be his worst loss physically too. Like I think Broner is going to hurt him and knock him out worst than Valero. Only that since Broner actually has better defense than Valero had, it's going to be worst getting beat up by someone you can't even touch.
I also think Broner will win, but probably not by KO. Valero had a leaky defense but more than made up with it with his explosive power. Valero was also fast as hell, like Broner. DeMarco has enough offense he's going to keep Broner much more bottled up than Valero was. end of the day, valero didn't mind getting hit. Not sure that is true with Broner.

This is Broner's toughest foe yet so we'll see how he does.

Not saying much though considering DeMarco is not very good IMO.

Pretty ****** to compare him to Duran too. Duran is by all accounts a top 10 all-time fighter and probably the best lightweight ever.
