I don't really get why Floyd never insisted that he wanted a fight with Pacquiao. Surely he knew Arum was never going to let the fight happen anyway, so why not make it clear he wasn't the one obstructing the fight? Why eat all that 'ducking' talk for no reason?
It was either horrible PR management, or he genuinely didn't want to fight Manny. And given all the money that fight would have brought in, it's hard to understand why he would have wanted to avoid it.Comment

Allegation and factual documentation of ducking has been pretty well established in both the boxing historians and fans pertaining to floyd.
