They give back to people with less and you don't hear about them going to jail,or going on Twitter posting ridiculous garbage for attention.

because back in the days boxers were professionals, theyre athletes at the same time, they are earning their living by fighting. even many of the boxers in yesteryears were not school educated they take boxing seriously because its their life. nowadays boxers doubles as clowns or the other way around, clowns doubles as boxers. some are being paid lucratively acting as clowns you know.

I personally care what kind of men professional boxers are because it legitimizes the sport if their men with honor and pride with a few brains thrown in!! The out of control press confrences that Ali had became the Tyson rants about killing someone to Mayweather thinking he's a Money Dispensor hahahaha I just have the feeling that the kid will be broke and become a sad story.
If you have loud mouth ignorant participants you get loud mouth ignorant fans. So the sport gets deminished and becomes a very small event in comparison to what the fan base was years ago. No Class draws Low Class!
            Ray.
I think thats true, although it varies from person to person. Take larry x for example, he actually believes he is one of Mayweather's crew to the extent that he would go on 50 cents twitter page and leave dozens of threats of murder on there!! Absolutely crazy!

Because they're an important aspect of this sport.

Some of the greatest fights of all time have included one (or more) trash talking "lowlife" type who played the "bad guy" role. It's just like wrestling. That's why people were so damn attracted to Mayweather v. Pacquiao; it's the ultimate loudmouth, trash talking fighter vs the classic humble, soft spoken fighter. It's a formula that has worked time and time again and made some of the most anticipated and classic fights of all time. De La Hoya-Vargas comes to mind, as does the Ali-Frazier trilogy.

It's attractive for many reasons. Look at DLH-Vargas; if Vargas had just shown up at the press conferences and said "Man. Oscar is a good friend and I respect him a lot. I hope I do well, but he's really good." No one would have given a ****. What made the fight classic is that Vargas talked mad **** and put himself out there, which made it all the more satisfying when Oscar made him eat his words and got the KO.

The "bad guys" in boxing create enemies for the "good guys." Without it, you'd just have FC 360 Pacquiao-Mosley every time.

Ray Robinson used to beat his wife, and Joe Louis was a severe womanizer while he was still married (Maybe that ones not that bad... but still)

If ur a black fighter, u have to do it to sell tickets... That seems to be what attracts support... U can't just be good, or even exciting, u have to be ****y about it...

To support this argument, I bring u exhibit Mosley

Mosley was a steroid cheat and still had a few sold out shows.

Andre Ward is pretty much class and he's doing well. you dont have to be an ignorant hip hop wannabe in boxing just because ur black
