50 is trying too hard to promote his fighter, he's going over the top. But he's promoting his fighter afterall, trying to link his name to Mayweather. Taking a page out of Bob Arum's book, linking Pacquiao, Margarito, and Cotto's name to Mayweather to promote them as dangerous fighters who are being ducked. Gamboa is the truth though, but in the lower weights.

Really, the only thing that entices Floyd is the money. His career is already locked as a great one, and now he just fights for fame and money. How much fame and money is he going to get fighting a guy that hasn't fought in over a year? Even with the dubious claim of '20 million dollars to the winner' by 50, that's still less then what Floyd would make fighting any other named welterweight. How much fame is he going to get fighting a guy that has to move northward 20+ lb and hasn't fought in a long time?

On the other hand, fighting Canelo Alvarez on May 5 - that's at least twice as much money then a Gamboa fight against a very popular, undefeated, young, untested Mexican that people would gobble up.

Fitty-as a ringside boxing fan and a friend of Floyd's, does not realize how ****** this sounds???---C'mon now..This is all hype for some underlying reason - Gamboa is real star potential. 50 needs to get him a decent comeback fight then fight Broner or somebody. his next fight should be @ 130-135 max and he shouldnt ever fight higher than 140lbs - he's 5'5" with average reach @ best.

F. Junior Doesn't Have The Ballz To Fight A Smaller, Youthful Gamboa!

Roy Jones went up and won the heavyweight title. Ray Leonard went way up in weight and beat Marvin Hagler & Donny LaLonde. Of course Floyd Junior doesn't have the ballz that make up a Legend. You'd think a smaller fighter would be right up Junior's alley, but he's a real, hand picking weasel of a puzz! Made Mosley and Cotto wait more than 10 years to fight, well beyond their prime. Has made Pacquiao wait more than 4 years, because Manny is still too dangerous. He wouldn't fight Maidana after Maidana destroyed Ortiz; Junior opted for Ortiz instead. Mayweather won't fight Canelo. He won't fight Sergio Martinez. Floyd Mayweather Junior is one of the biggest gutless, puzzy champions, the sport has ever known. Floyd Junior doesn't think so, but when has he ever been considered credible?!!? Junior, grow a set, and fight the little guy Gamboa, you fu'n puzz!!!
