He's not going to fight Martinez because Golden Boy never contacted anyone on Martínez's side and now Martinez is going fight Martin Murray in Argentina. Mayweather is not going to fight Canelo because golden boy doesn't want to cash out Canelo and if Cotto wins it will probably be Cotto.

Source??? I'll laugh my ass off if Sergio fights Murray, though a decent opponent, and doesn't fight Golovkin. It'll be entertaining to hear Floyd haters say Floyd is avoiding a MW in Sergio, but than Sergio is somehow justified fighting Martin Murray instead of Golovkin.

I don't see that happening. Martinez got a lot of exposure against Chavez and he won't waste that against Martin Murrary. Martinez wants to fight in Argentina, plus HBO would never buy that fight.

Martinez is targeting a return in May, of course Samson Lewkowicz is talking to Canelo.

when asked about Canelo, Samson doesn't want to talk about it because Canelo will ask for too much but we all know Martinez will take what Canelo give him.

Let Alvarez beat a good fighter or two before he fights Floyd. If Floyd fought Alvarez now, he'd get s**t on BIG TIME.

Not mad at Martinez/Murray at all. In fact, Team Maravilla and I seem to be on the same page.

Said this back in September:

"Sergio should try to make the 154lb fights happen first, he owes himself that much after clawing his way up the mountain. If he can’t get Mayweather/Canelo/Cotto, then he should play the waiting game at MW. I would wait to see who Golovkin signs to fight next. If GGG/Geale happens early next year, then I would take a stay-busy against Murray or unify with the winner of Quillin/N’Jikam. WBC has become a real bitch when it comes to unification bouts, so the latter route probably won’t be taken. After GGG/Geale, I would try once again to get a 154lb fight. If that doesn’t work, then Martinez should try and force Chavez into a fight with Golovkin lol. Let’s face it, Jr. did not deserve his WBC title shot, did not deserve a shot at the lineal title, and he doesn’t deserve a rematch. Chavez/Golovkin for the right to fight Martinez. Chavez/Golovkin and Martinez vs. the WBO titlist. Winners fight each other and we would finally have an Undisputed MW champion.

not as much as if he fights the winner of berto vs guerrero since canelo is clearly the bigger threat than them ..
