If bob can do magic like that and hype PAC up to be a monster again for his very last fight then couldn't he do it now if PAC was to fight Floyd now and if PAC loses couldn't bob hype PAC up for a few more fights? The whole bob is waiting out on PAC vs Floyd until PAC's last fight is pretty lame. How is bob suppose to hype PAC up for his very last fight against Floyd if PAC was to lose in his next couple fights??

Because some people still actually believe that Floyd is scared of Pac. Pac can go on to lose 10 more times and the simple minded fools who really think Floyd is scared of Pac will STILL buy the fight. As usual many people pac fans or not will always buy Floyd's fights in hopes to see him lose.

Anyhow it is a last resort fight. For example, think Jones jr and B-Hop rematch. They should have made that years ago.. but it never happened. It was one of those fights that would be a last resort for both at the end of their career that would still make more money than any other fight that could be made for them.

Granted they are not super stars like Mayweather and Pac but for what they generate it was decent for them. Mayweather and Pac is a last resort fight. A fight that will always be there for both of them just as long as people have this idea that Floyd is supposed to be scared and/or that Pac will be the first man to beat Floyd etc.

Doesn’t matter when or how many loses Pac has, it is a fight that will make all people involved a lot of money and that is even if Floyd gets a lot more of the cut.

In the meantime, Bob can make a lot of money without having to share it while also feeding people the idea that Floyd is scared aka hyping Pac. It's business and Bob is REALLY good at it. He's been making fights for decades, people that think he can't make this fight are idiots.

He's keeping things in house and making himself a lot of money and will make a lot more in the end, even IF Floyd gets the larger share. If Pac loses to Floyd first, his stock is done. Nobody will care as his hype is built on beating Floyd.

Just look what happened after the JMM III fight. His stock dropped because he couldn't beat old man JMM at WW like Floyd did. That convinced a lot of people that he will never be able to beat Floyd. Why would Bob expose pac before exhausting all his options? It’s the same thing with Alvarez and GBP's? Hoya has never been keen on feeding his cashcow to Mayweather even though Alvarez is all for it. It's business and Bob is business when it comes to boxing. Hate the bastard but he knows how to build and protect a fighter.

and ur wrong about those #s. Forbes Mag did Mayweathers fights. Floyd was # 1 and Pac #2 for all athletes. Floyd was in front of Pac, but not by much. Floyd got app 35 mil- AFTER PPV upside. Forbes calculations were based on ALL income.
Of course floyd can make big $ with Canelo, but that would do 1.5-1.6 not 2.5-2.6. and a fight with bradley does WAY less than 1.5 bc thats not gonna do better than his fight wit cotto did.

pac waited till after he signed to fight jmm to get all bravado. He had months when searching for an opponent to scream to the masses but he waited so in turn ill wait to see if this bravado continues after or if he starts in on Rios right away with a date already secured. But first a guy who many, including myself, believe beat him last Nov.

Or stand up to Bob Arum~ and demand Floyd because Bob can't make Manny fight so Manny has leverage to make the fight happen. I never got why Manny has got such a pass over that.

Question. Did Floyd's stock drop when Pac beat ODLH and Hatton better than Floyd did or did it drop when Floyd couldn't beat Cotto up as good as Pac did?

FYI, this guy beating that guy up better than that guy did so on and so forth doesn't apply or really mean anything. It's the style of the fighter that does.

Now if you said Pac has problems with counterpunchers via his questionable wins over Marquez which might be an indicator to why Floyd would win based on styles, that would make sense; rightfully so.
