i think pacquiao comes around where ali is
i mean, if one has ali there, pacquiao should be somewhere close by
ali beat the top rated guys, top rated yea, but limited guys, probabley gets ranked as he does because of his slogan
people pick apart everyones resume nowadays but not the guys of the past, i guess old news is old, no point going into detail about their wins? and since a group started ranking ali high, it became kind of instinctual, a way to get your opinion paid attention to, human nature, same thing probabley applies to alot of others on that listComment

When you started pro boxing at the age of 16 (minimum weight 105) and won a title at 154 against an opponent who has 17 lbs weight advantage over you, only the floydiots won't give you any credit. Their pea size brains won't be able to comprehend/process this gigantic information.

Ali beat 3 bonafide top 10 Heavyweights and a couple of Top 20's. Coupled with him making like 22 defenses or something, his longevity, fighting past prime, beating the highest percentage of top 10 ranked fighters in the history of the sport etc etc.Ray Robinson

and pacquiao doesn't come close to that?
morales, barrera, marquez and even cotto, they dont come close to frazier, foreman, liston or norton?
and instead of defenses it's going up 8 weightclasses, still not worth as much?Comment

I never said it wasn't you can have your own opinion on that.
The stat about beating the highest % of top 10 ranked fighters is a very important one though.Comment

At 130 Manny beat the 1 ,2, 3 guys. By today's standards it almost unthinkable to fight the top 3 and beat them all. Even ward with all the praise he gets hasn't beaten the top 3 to his title.Comment
