Bump a two year old thread. He looked pretty good tonight. Should be fun to see him in 2015.

Pretty good? He looked pretty great. Good future. I could see him fighting for a belt depending on PAC/Floyd retirement.

I like to see Floyd vs Ali. Tired of seeing Floyd fight flat footed no defense come forward fighters (ie maidana twice, guerrero, canelo, Ortiz, etc.)

He looked good? It was more of a case of Abregu looking horrible. Not to mention he was getting hurt from the wind of Ali;s punches

Combination of both IMO. Abregu certainly didn't look great but Ali deserves credit. I thought he looked pretty sharp.

ali just scored a big win and floyd likes to fight guys coming off big wins right so why not? abregu's on the same level as berto and broner. if those sorry fools who beat them can get fights with floyd why not?

He looked really sharp for half the fight I said he'd win if he didn't get KO'd but a better fighter would have clipped him especially when he started to slow down and his chin is still a big question maybe he would of threw more earlier if he had too but his speed is very good.

I was impressed, though but at WW can he win a belt it'll be tough depends on who's got them.
