No need to be in a hurry, a couple of good wins and Ali will be ready for a title shot in 2016. I can now see a potential conqueror of Kell Brook, LOL.

And pray tell, why Abregu looked horrible?

Could it be...erm i wonder because Ali was making him look horrible? By outboxing him so badly Abregu didn't know his ass from him face in the fight?

If it was one of your Eastern European heroes like the future ATG Gregorz Proska i'm sure you'd be giving him all the praise in the world for being the first to dominate Abregu like that.

Hadn't seen much of him before this fight but he looked very good against a fighter who'm i along with most others thought would knock him out, a very underrated fighter at that.

It's probably an obvious question but Khan and Ali could now be considered the top two boxers at 147? The new kings of the division!

please dont overyhype this kid like yall did with Porter and Alexander and just about everyone else. Brook would whoop him, Khan would whoop him, Floyd would school him, Bradley would make him look silly and Pacman would kill him.

It was his best performance to date but I wouldn't say he looked "great". I want to see more of him. I've seen him fight before and never really looked impessive. He almost lost his last fight against a very average fighter.

he has potential to be champ in the future. but i'd like to see him fight thurman next.

thurman vs ali would be a great fight between two good up and comers.

Thurman deserves a bigger fight imo. Ali stepped up for the first time last night, while Thurman has had two years worth of step-up/stepping stone fights. Ali should fight Josesito/Judah/van Heerden or the winner of Bizier/Jo Jo Dan.
