I first watched Cotto vs Quintana and he dominated him. i didn't know much about boxing at the time since i was only 12, but I started to like him and made my dad keep up and find out when Cotto's next fights were. I watched a little boxing before than, but that's when I really started liking it.

You must me a new fan to boxing, because I was watching Floyd well before the hate. When people were calling him one of the best prospects coming out. It really wasn't until the Phillip N'Dou fight, where he got public criticism from Larry Merchant for being a "boring" fighter, and not being able to fill out his hometown arena.

        Now look at him. LOL.

I used to hate Mayweather like crazy until he fought Hatton. After he destroyed Hatton I just realized how skillfull the dude is. I was sad when he said he was gonna retire.I just wish he would fight more often. Its gonna be a long time before someone has skilled as him comes along.

Hagler looked unbeatable to me. Chin, stamina, skill, power, etc the dude had it all. Mentally tough guy.

I remember being a huge Ray Leonard fan before I even really liked and respected boxing... And in loving Ray, I hated Duran (just becuz Duran beat him, and said all those mean things )

But when I got older and started respecting the sport, and even practicing the craft... I started to respect fighters that didn't look like Ali a bit more than those that did, and soon I fell in love with the inside game

And if u love inside fighting, u love Duran becuz he was the master at it... Another reason I love Duran... He's not a one trick pony... He's a master on the inside, and a master on the outside too...

To this day, fighters like Bradley, Guerrero, Ward, and Martinez (guys that can do it all) are my favorite fighters

Funny story of how I became a Bradley fan (he's not really my absolute favorite current fighter, but he just has the most interesting story)

First time I saw him was the replay of his fight with Witter the day before he fault Holt live... I remember watching that thinking, who ever this Bradley guy is, I don't expect him to last long

Than the Holt fight happened, and I thought even less of him... I respected how well he took the power shots from Holt, but when u look at how he fought... To me, it looked more like Holt let Bradley outwork him... If he WANTED to box and use his clearly superior talent more effectively, he would have won

Didn't officially think anything of him until he fought Peterson... At that point I realized he was the real deal... He fought on the inside, the outside, and just dominated a highly touted prospect that was significantly bigger than him... What could I say?

agreed dude. that Peterson fight really showed us that he is a force to be reckoned with. and it was entertaining as hell.
