Upon first (and only) viewing I thought Matthysse won both fights. I remember thinking at the time that the only possible way Alexander/Judah could be ahead on the scorecards is if the judges consistently gave all the close rounds to the hometown fighter.
Matthysse vs Alexander & Judah RBR!

I gave R.2, R.6 and R.9 to Matthysse. Round 7 to Judah.
R.1 - Judah
R.2 - Matthysse
R.3 - Matthysse
R.4 - Matthysse
R.5 - Judah
R.6 - Matthysse
R.7 - Judah
R.8 - Judah
R.9 - Matthysse
R.10 - Matthysse (10-8)
R.11 - Matthysse
R.12 - Matthysse
I think this would be a more entertaining fight if they rematched, Judah sat in the pocket defensively for long periods just trying to make Matthysse miss.Comment

You wrote a whole paragraph question how lucas didnt win that round yet said NOTHING about what judah actually did to win itRound 9? Nobody got the "stuffing beat out of them" in round 9. Lucas threw more punches but was missing wildly and occasionally slapping. In other cases Judah was circling away or catching the punches with his glove. It was an ugly round altogether. Unless your scoring it based on "being more active" or giving the benefit of the doubt to the guy coming forward.

yeah the alexander fight was bad matthyse cleary won that fight. i think the judah fight was closer but matthyse deserved the nod at worst he won 3 out of the first six rounds and he definetly swept the last 3 plus the knockdown equals 6-6 in rounds with the knock down being the differencethey really aren't hard to score. who's landing the punches? lucas. ok he gets the round. sounds easy. are people psyching themselves out by talking about jabs that hit air and footwork? who's landing the punches! wow judah got beat to hell in that round but i really liked his footwork!Comment
