Check my thread. I scored the fight totally unbiased and if you disagree with any round sin particular let me know.

The Judah fight is up next.

He had better footwork. That matters more than getting punched in the face.

I remember someone else saying Alexander beat either Kotelnik or Maidana and they said the same thing, that you have to give the fight to the fighter who looks better, not the one landing punches. Wonder if this is the same person.

Look at TS's sig, he thinks Berto, Dawson and Peterson are the future. That's all you need to know.

Thing is Judah was winning and/or had it real close until he got knocked down. He should not have been given the decision.

I re-watched this a few weeks ago, I'm a Judah fan but he didn't do anywhere near enough to win this fight. 8-4 Matthysse.

it was a close fight. the problem is on this forum everyone thinks every close fight is a robbery.

Imo it was a close fight in the same way Pacquiao-Marquez III was a close fight or Pacquiao-Bradley was a close fight. I.e. a vague argument can be made for the winner but in the eyes of most it really wasn't that close at all.

I agree. No robbery. Judah boxed well, kept his composure and won fair and square.

Very impressive victory to add on his resume.

                    115-112 Matthysse.

He landed the better punches throughout, dominated the last half of the fight, dominated in power shots....he won the fight pretty clearly in my eye's.

As for the Alexander fight, that was an even clearer victory for Matthysse.

I think Lucas lost to Judah but I feel he did enough to get the win against Alexander.
