seems like a pretty ****** thing to say to be honest, i presume it was said with negative connotations?... Assuming AIBA have no control over hiring and firing this was probably their only option to punish them. They have a duty to keep the image of their sport clean and statements like this only reinforce the idea that boxing is a backwards sport...

Yeah, a duty to keep the sport clean unless it involves jobbing fighters at the olympics.
