Just for fun... What weight division would you box in?

For example: me, I walk around at 147 I think I could get down to 135 pretty easy and at 5' 9 I would be a decent size at the weight.

    How bout you?

I can easily make 168, although I walk around at 180.

It would have been 154 when I was in my late teens.

        Either 135-140

I'm 5'7 and walk around 150. I personally don't believe in draining down so much to make weight. Just fight at a natural, in-shape weight, and let your skills carry the day.

178 when i hit the opens in the amateurs. probably cruiserweight to start my pro career. then up to HW for the big bucks. if i were in boxing shape i'd probably only be 200 lbs, but HW is where the money and the glory is at, and that's where i'd want to fight.

            I'm 5'9 and I walk around at 140 lbs.

I could definitely fight at fight at 130. Maybe lower.

could you get down to 175 now, or are you talking about being a lifelong boxer and keeping the weight down that way?

i'm not six feet and i couldn't get down to 175 without removing a leg. maybe i could do it five years ago, but even then it's a stretch, and i'd have to be a lifelong fighter.
