He needs work on alot, he can still do meaningful things in the sport if he fights smarter. Freddie hasn't done much for him in terms of teaching technique, watch Kahn he just leaps in and out with no head movement at his opponents throwing a dozen quick slaps no wonder he gets caught and hurt.

The perfect word.....overrated.@147 he will meet his doom.Too many tough talented guys in that division let alone getting stomped by 140lbr's who are growing into the same division as well.By the time he's done his career he'll owe 14 rematches.

by far the most overated fighter in a while
i just didnt get whatthe hype was about
and i called the garcia fight saw it coming a mile away

people where setting him up for a mayweather/pac fight
some ha him ranked right behind them he spoke as if he was too

think ab it , put it in perspective IF RICKY HATTON WAS KOED IN 1 RD BY BREDIS PRESCOTT how would he have been ranked ... he was koed by manny pacquiao a prime the best pac we ever saw and he is completley written off by the same people who ranked kahn

whos best win was over old paulie and old judah!
life and death with maidana !
not to mention a beating by peterson

after the danny ko i dont even wanna see him anymore !
god wtf is wrong with u peopleeeeeeeeeeee

                  having said that
i do enjoy watching him fight always a good show ...seriously

He, much like Victor Ortiz, is skilled but suffers from performance inconsistencies. Like someone who understands the material but does poor on tests.

I can't put a 2-time world champion into the 'never was' bracket.

Is he a has-been? well that remains to be seen.
