Garcia couldn't handle life in the Tszyu era

Lets face it the guy can hit and hit very hard he's proven that but what he hasn't proven is how well he does against elite level guys now this is partly because he's in a fairly weak division and that's not his fault but..

Fans need to stop jumping on this guy like he's the jr welter Tyson and realize that if he fought in the Tszyu era he wouldn't be a belt holder let alone the real champ. Only 7-8 years ago this division had a close to prime Tszyu, Floyd, Mitchell, Gatti and an up and coming Hatton. Maybe prime for prime Garcia gets by Mitchell and Gatti but he barely touches prime Tszyu or Floyd and I'd like Hatton's chances if it was in England.

I like Garcia and this isn't meant to tear him apart but lets slow down with the hype machine and wait until he beats someone dangerous not a great but very old Erik and the glass jawed Khan.

He just won his fight in spectacular fashion and is getting better every fight. Give him his props. No one is saying he's the next ATG 140 lber. Danny Garcia is a very good fighter. Bottom line.

You're only as good as your opponent and his opponents have been weak. He's added some "names" but 1 was very far past prime and the other a product of hype. He's done nothing to suggest he's world class...yet.

He's still young. WTF are you talking about? He just drowned Khan and Morales. Now he's going to fry more fish. What's your beef with him? He's a damn good fighter and there's going to be plenty good fights with him in the future that you will be watching. Danny G is here to stay! Nothing lucky about his wins!

Garcia would have been live with Mitchell, would have beat Gatti, and there are other titlists in the Tszyu era he beats too. Zab would have been close either way (most Judah fights could be) and he would have shelled Millet. Could have beat Rhailou. No way he beats Tszyu but that's fine. Garcia would have been solid top ten then too.

                  Always gotta be these threads:

"Floyd would get killed by Tommy Hearns"

"Manny would get destroyed by Ray Leonard"

"The Klitschko's would get killed by a prime George Foreman"

When you gotta go back a few generations to prove your point you are really grasping hard.

Garcia has a real challenge with Matthysse and some fun fights with Josesito or Broner moving up in a year or so.

I think you have no idea what you're talking about. There is nothing Amatuerish in the way Danny fights. Amir Khan, that's an amatuerish fighter. A smart, intelligent counter puncher like Danny Garcia is FARRRRR from being "amatuer".
