Morales retired more than 5 years ago and he should have remained there. He had a great career securing his place in the hall of fame. It was maybe the case that JM Marquez was being compared to Erik that probably ignited the desired to have a come back. However, Erik was past his prime for more than a decade and tried to accomodate to a new weitght=140 Lbs. (2 divisions above his last world title -130 Lbs- having won the first one at 122 Lbs.) Everything that Erik could have got in the last 2 1/2 years would only be additional and there wouldn't be affecting him in any way since the Morales showing lately is nothing but a pale shadow of the great boxer it used to be 10-15 years ago. Every person knowing boxing understand that tonight fight was just an effort to cashing on a revenge contractual situation on Morales side. Previous to tonight Erik was ranked # 32 in the 140 Lbs. division. Philadelphia's Garcia should now face high ranked boxers as Mathysse, JM Marquez, Peterson, Garcia, etc. to legitimally claim that he is the best in the LWW division.

U mean Rios is the one dimensional fighter that would get retired. Abril schooled him
and if my man Alvarado had power, u wouldn't have shiet to say right now.

Beating a Washed Morales and a No chin Khan isn't so exciting, but I give Danny Props!

If García wants to get real props then he should fight Lucas or Rios. I give him credit for his fights against Morales 1 and Khan, but this rematch was not necessary and a Khan rematch would also be crap, he already destroyed him.

Totally agree with you, Rios would be a custom fit for Garcia to prove he's for real.

Rios is a custom fit knock out win for Swift. Easily. Any other of division foes will help shut the naysayer the fuick up. Or to prove he's real whatever.

He clearly lost to Abril but hey-ho and if you are going to add John fcukin' Murray and shot to bits Antillion and Acosta to his best wins then I think its only fair you also take into consideration Garcia holds wins over Kendall Holt, Nate Campbell & Ashley Theophane.

I wasn't surprised about this outcome, Morales was just a stepping stone for Garcia. There's lots of talent on this divisoin and to be honest I'm still not convinced about Garcia...I'd like to see him with Brandon Rios, that sure would be a good fight and a proving point for him. It was sad to see Morales to go out this way...
