I agree with you on the fact that Garcia being the real deal at 140. I don't see Rios being able to handle his timing, counter punching and power. He will eventually catch the left hook considering Rios likes to come in and brawl rather than box. He's a counter puncher's dream fight.
Great point about timing...that's how he beat Khan, even though Khan was outspeeding him early (the uninformed keep swearing "owned"), Garcia really started timing Khan on the counters. He's the real deal for mine.
I said it. Garcia has perfect timing and Rios rushing in will get clocked. Good fight to make but I lean towards Garcia because of his smarts and timing with the left hook.
I got Rios breaking down Garcia and stopping him late. Rios works his way in and takes away fighters hearts bit by bit until they have no resolve left.
That's your opinion but all Garcia would have to do is box Rios and keep him at a comfortable distance and I'm willing to bet that Rios is not going to eat more than two of them left hooks without going down. IF the fight ever happens by any miracle then we can bet 2BIL.
I REALLY doubt Garcia would ko or stop Rios, much less BOX and keep Rios at distance. You can say that's my opinion but I'm sure you can picture it happening, Rios fighting on the inside would not give Garcia a chance to box. To top it off Garcia's not even a Good BOXER more of a Punchers chance but wouldn't happen vs Rios!
