for some ppl excuses are ok but for others they arent allowed. no excuses for anyone. contaminated meat? much too convenient for my liking.

Damn shame. Fan of everyone on that list except for JCCJR, but I still respect the kid. Now we all get robbed of what I thought was gonna be a much better fight than the first. I was really looking forward to the Ortiz-Berto II match up. Didn't happen. Khan-Peterson II went out the window. I understand the feeling of wanting the victory being a super competitive dude myself, but you COULDN'T pay me to put that shit in my body.

SInce my thread was deleted which tried to explain the situation, I'll say it here briefly:

Let's see if Morales' B sample comes back clean. If that comes back clean, it's very likely his sample was just contaminated. I'm pretty sure these drugs tests do not have a "threshold" cutoff for a minimum level for metabolites of the drug. For example: You can in fact test positive for heroin by eating poppy seeds, BUT if hte drug test has been set up with a proper cutoff/threshold level, it's very unlikely you can get enough of the drug metabolite simply by eating poppy seeds. NOTE: On Mythbusters, they didn't specify if the drug tests has cutoff thresholds. I doubt they did, which is why they failed after eating poppy seeds.

These are very sensitive drug tests. Morales was likely eating a lot of flank steaks in his diet - the extra fat would be crucial in conncetion with a low-carb diet - so he could fuel his workouts, while still losing weight.

Let's remember that Sergio was eating big fat steaks after he weighed in 15 poudns over the 160 limit at the 30-day weigh-in.
