First off, Narvaez was the number one guy at 115 and Donaire was the top guy at 118... So he only moved up 1 division. The only punch Narvaez was really landing was his jab. Stop over exaggerating what Omar was doing. He wasn't slipping punches... He pulled a Joshua Clottey and put his his gloves way high up all night like an amateur. Give the man his props. Narvaez fought the way he did and tried to survive cause Nonito made him look like that.
Umm no. Narvaez was definitely frustrating Nonito by slipping and moving out of the way. And he was landing a bit more than a jab. Just nothing that could hurt Nonito. On top of that everyone said he just didn't look that good vs Narvaez which brought the question of what happens when he fights a skilled guy who can punch with him?

Bottom line, the guys he's fighting arent actually guys who can beat him. My statement stands. Mathebula was the most competitive fight I've seen out of his last 3. The other two were horrible. Nikiosha didn't even want to punch and the guy looked like a ****ing twig. At least when Floyd moved up in the p4p rankings he beat someone at the top.

Rigo vs. Terrazas/Cazares/Montiel, not another prospect. I wonder why Arum doesn't put Nonito and Rigo on the same card. What better way to build for a potential match-up?

I see where Arce is coming from and Arce is a true warrior, but he is not beating Donaire. As I said in another post Donaire is still too big for these lower weight classes. He is too big and too strong for pretty much all of his opponents these days. I think Mares and Rigo can compete, but not Arce, Arce is coming up a few weight divisions and is just too small. Arce would come to fight no doubt and go to war as always but he would be KOed in mid rounds at the latest, if not early rounds. I would love to see the upset and it would be money to see Arce win but I just cannot see it happening.

              The truth

Nishioka had problem to the right eye in round 2.

He saw double everything after round 2.

Japanese media ask this problem, but Nishioka didn't answer.

              And Nishioka said.

"Even if I say anything it is made an excuse. I am not satisfied with a result at all. But I took all and faced for this bout ( on sincere and seriously trained ) . It is crystal-clear."

"Nonito Donaire is more than a match for me - one too many for me"

Nishioka did not make an excuse. He wanted to be manly for big defeat.

Many Japanese fans are proud of Nishioka. And praise victory of Donaire heartily.

In addition, many Japanese fans don't believe it. Arce face to Donaire.

              1. Donaire's left hand is broken.
              2. Travieso am no match for Filipino Flash.
              3. Arce's 5 crowns are fake (shams). Japanese fans regret this facts. Because we knew golden age of Arce very well too.

Nonito looked good considering he won every single round. He didnt look great because Narvaez pulled a "Clottey" and stunk up the whole fight. It takes 2 to tango. Have you ever watched any Narvaez fights outside of his bout with Nonito? He is FAR from slick... Mayweather, Judah, Guzman... Those guys are slick.... Narvaez is a mini version of Clottey my friend. Good defense? Perhaps but far from slick.
Well we can end this debate right there since you've clearly made the most sensible & knowledgeable arguments between the two of us....clearly.
