Mathebula had height and reach, so therefore was less timid to let his shots off. No other fighter will have that luxury in this division. Everyone else is within distance to get countered. The only way to beat Nonito is to fight cautious, force the counter-puncher to over-exert himself. This is why Arce will not win. He doesn't have the physical attributes and doesn't have the style, therefore it's a clear mismatch that isn't worth watching.

I said one or two divs....U said "first off" like u were about to come w/ some astounding revelations...What about the many other points I made. Narvaez was the undefeated champion. But he's still 5'3". Nonito didn't look good at all in that fight & Omar Narvaez was super slick that night. I didn't exaggerate anything. He touched Donaire more than he should have with "ONLY a JAB" (laughing) Nonito doesn't deserve props for that fight. he looked silly in 1 dimensional rather than highly skilled. Well its one division, dont say one or 2 when it was clearly one to try and discredit Donaire. And I dont understand why you are bring height into this? Boxing and any combat sport goes by weight not height. Why arent you making the same arguement for Mathebula when the guy is 6'0 tall? Sounds hypocritical to me.

Nonito looked good considering he won every single round. He didnt look great because Narvaez pulled a "Clottey" and stunk up the whole fight. It takes 2 to tango. Have you ever watched any Narvaez fights outside of his bout with Nonito? He is FAR from slick... Mayweather, Judah, Guzman... Those guys are slick.... Narvaez is a mini version of Clottey my friend. Good defense? Perhaps but far from slick.

i can only think of two 122 lb fighters who would stand their ground against donaire...that's arce and mares. the rest would either fight him tentatively or be more defensive than what they already are.
