Vazquez Jr: 0 wins against Top 10 Super Bantamweights.
Mathebula: 1 win against a Top 10 Super Bantamweight (Ndlovu). He had a close fight with Caballero too.

Rigondeaux: 2 wins against Top 10 Super Bantamweights (Cordoba and Ramos).

But Rigondeaux needs more good or solid wins.

I just find it absolutely hilarious how a boxer with only 11-0 gets so much talk around here. How many guys with such "little pro experience" get this amount of attention? There is something obvious which hits us and opens our eyes having us realize that RIGONDEAUX is the fucking real deal.

Let's not pretend here people. Anything is possible in this beloved sport and to say Rigondeaux will blow Donaire out is unfair. But is Rigondeaux a threat? Is he a champ in the respective division? Has this fight been simmering for the last year or two? Absolutely.

Tonight Donaire clearly annouced he would rather avoid Rigondeaux.

You forgot Vazquez was KTFO by Arce then went on to fight a "tune up" before facing Donaire.

rigo is your classic so underrated that now he's overrated fighter.

I just dont see it. He has not faced a single notable fighter.

put rigo against a darchinyan or agbeko...build his name a little bit and earn some bragging rights. for now, donaire is right in saying rigo has to earn it. i know people would bring up the mathebulas and narvaez to justify rigo's claim but those guys were happy to get paid half of what rigo is asking. rigo is not even happy to get $200K for fcuks sake.

Im thinking they call Cordoba a bum cause they never heard or saw him fight before the Rigo fight?

Bottom line, if Donaire leaves 122 without fighting Mares/Moreno and/or Rigondeaux, you CAN'T justify it.
They already are, we all know that the probability of Donaire fighting Mares/Moreno/Rigo is low.

Ramos was NOT top even tho RING had him at #8 and Cordoba was a close joke of a fight

Rigos wins are fake, deal with it

has it occured to people that maybe arum wants to build up a fighter to more than 11 wins before putting him in against a top 5 p4p fighter?

what would happen if arum pitted donaire against a 11 win fighter and donaire crushes him?

how would the public see that?

hardcore fans need to stop thinking like hardcore fans. That's not how you run a business and THAT'S NOT HOW YOU RUN A FIGHTER.

You don't even know who Ricardo Cordoba is......and you say I don't know anything about boxing, jesus. Cordoba was a Top 10 SBW with a win over Caballero and draws he should have won against Sydorenko. Ramos was a Top 10 ranked SBW coming off knocking Shimoda out.

                      God just stop....
