The problem is, there's no real high-profile opponent available other than Donaire.

    Rigo vs. Terrazas
    Rigo vs. winner of Quigg/Munroe
    Rigo vs. Darchinyan
    Rigo vs. Ndlovu
    Rigo vs. Frampton

Rigo should fight at least two of these guys before Donaire. I hope he doesn't fight another prospect in November.

      Not unreasonable at all.

Umm Mathebula lost to Caballero. And Rigo beat Cordoba who ACTUALLY beat Caballero. Cordoba actually has a couple more names on his resume if you wanna check it out. Then he whooped Ramos who won his belt by KO. Mathebula has faced ONE name and lost before Donaire. Cordoba meanwhile is a tough vet with plenty of names on his belt.

Vazquez Jr jas beaten 0.....I repeat.....0 fighters in the Top 10 at 122. At least Rigondeaux has beaten 2, Cordoba and Ramos. At least Ramos KO'd Shimoda to win his title.

Bottom line, if Donaire leaves 122 without fighting Mares/Moreno and/or Rigondeaux, you CAN'T justify it.

Rico Ramos was ranked #2 when Rigo slaughtered him.

Thats just plain dumb! There are lots of opponents out there he could fight are not a threat to him....should he fight all them? So if he thinks he is no threat....Why bother? He would rather fight a fighter that is a threat! Or someone that has proved himself to be a worthy opponent at a professional level! Rigo isnt in the Amateurs any more. This is the big boys! Fight some top TOP guys, then maybe you will get a shot.

This... people are being ridiculous. Cordoba and Ramos are better opponents than most of the guys Donaire has been fighting.
