Surprise, surprise, Donaire continues to duck Rigo. .

So your assertion is that prospects can't punch? Marroquin is a left hook specialist, its his best punch, and he hits hard, and he came into the ring significantly heavier than Rigo.
He didn't go down, he didn't get battered. He get hit with one shot, buckled a bit, then went back to dominating.
Do I need to remind you that Marroquin has wins over both Adrien Broner and Gary Russel Jr?
Do I also need to remind you that he has a higher KO percentage than Donaire?
Hes not a bum, he was a very live opponent who will go on to have a very good career.Comment

This thread was made today. And you're whining for like 4 pages now. Every thread about Donaire today, you've been whining.
Nice exaggeration there, by the way. You don't know anything about Nishioka, so you pretend that he's some random bum and when someone tells you otherwise, we're building him up like he's Ali.Comment

not interested in a donaire-rigo fight. rigo would just bore the s'hit out of donaire and the fans. he would just shell-up all night. if cordoba's punches can make him backpedal all night like a ballerina and too tentative to throw punches, what do you think he will do once he tastes donaire's power? he would just stunk up the place. aside from his suspect chin, rigo's heart is questionable as well. he only devours on weak opponents, give him a decent opponent and he will struggle. so yeah give him another cordoba-level opponent so he would get used to fighting at above-average level before he aims for the top fighters.Comment

I don't need to hype Nishioka, he was the #1 guy in the division. You're hyping a dude who's unproven. No matter how you slice it, Nishioka has a better resume than Rigo so if he's a fraud then what does that make Rigo? You can't win this argument, you're criticizing fighters whose resumes shit all over your guy's resume.A faded Marquez that he looked pedestrian against and a Gonzalez who couldn't make the weight anymore on the slide of his career, something to brag about. Can't believe you're still hyping this guy. The lengths that stans will go to. This is getting worse than pac stans.
You think this monster could beat Rigo?
Why do you think he's chasing Donaire? For the glory?Last edited by Light_Speed; 10-14-2012, 08:46 PM.Comment

oh they can punch , just not as good as the elite pros like nonito..do i need to remind you pinto and abdulaev beat cotto in the amateuers but got destroyed in the pros..what does that mean? ..it means pros is a whole ne w ball game.. marroquin is a bum compared to nonitoSo your assertion is that prospects can't punch? HAHAHA! So you think Nonito Donaire can punch extra hard because he is skilled?oh they can punch , just not as good as the elite pros like nonito..do i need to remind you pinto and abdulaev beat cotto in the amateuers but got destroyed in the pros..what does that mean? ..it means pros is a whole ne w ball game.. marroquin is a bum compared to nonito
New flash buddy, how skilled you are has nothing to do with how hard you hit. If it did, Maidana would have had a terrible career.
Abdullaev was in his 30s already when he fought Cotto as a pro, and past his best.Last edited by !! Shawn; 10-14-2012, 09:20 PM.Comment

Not in the pros, you know, where it matters.
Yeah, against such spectacular journeymen such as Arturo Carmago, or Anthony Nupunyi.
He lost to a guy that was 14-5 and who was nothing special. Marroquin lost to what they call a 'bum'.
Lol I can't believe you're trying to hype Marroquin as some world beater with monster KO power. Anything to make rigondeaux's weak resume look better eh? These rigo fanboys man...
How many of those fights didn't involve headgear and pillow gloves? How many of those fights were against elite fighters in the professional ranks?Comment
