This is coming from a snaggletooth, rotten guy who doesn't have a pot to piss in and nowhere to throw it out," Ellerbe explained, referring to former Mayweather associate Tommy Summers, the author of the letter that was sent to Mayweather while he was incarcerated. Summers has reportedly been working alongside rapper turned promoter 50 Cent, helping him to sign fighters and learn the ins and outs of the boxing industry. "Floyd is one of the smartest people I've ever met, and unbeknownst to some, Floyd already controls every aspect of his business. This is how he became the highest paid athlete in all sports," Ellerbe
added. "The real truth is someone underestimated his intellect, knowledge, and loyalty, because Floyd is the one and only who determines who he works with"

I don't know about the dude who wrote the letter (which should have been typed) but I still think Floyd should have went into promoting with 50. He wouldn't have needed GBP to promote his fights and he could have left Haymon who probably takes a big portion of Floyd's fight money. Floyd, Ellerbe, and 50 Cent could have ran TMT Promotions and generated many new viewers. Oh well.

That`s why i was telling people to wait to when you hear the other side of the story before you jump to conclusions instead of just listening to 50 side then jumping into conclusions passing 50 side of the story as fact.

Floyd rejected this whole tmt garbage so 50 cent was butthurt so of-course you gotta figure that 50 probably was bull****ting people trying to make Floyd look bad.

And if Haymon is his manager then what does Ellerbe do? Why does he need him?

Being knowledgeable is cool and all, but a knowledgeable person would know that Floyd has enough drawing power to not need Haymon or GBP promoting his fights. Floyd's a big boy, he can be his own man.
