price beat who? fury is on world level now & price is still domestic. this fight will happen when the time is right just like lennox did with frank bruno. he waited until he had a title & it was a huge event. lewis had just mopped the floor with razor ruddock & got the vacant belt when bowe threw it in the trash. he made a defence in england in front of a huge crowd. fury vs price will happen once both of them have a top ranking or they fight in an eliminator, etc. way too early for these guys to fight. price needs to step up & harrison is a good start. mitchell is a bigger fight as price just lost a tv deal in england while mitchell fights on HBO. doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out this is business not a duck.

Then why does this article even mention that "The ex-Irish champion realizes that he is not going to lure in names such as...David Price....?"

If Fury really wanted that fight he could "lure" Price very easily. As Price wants the fight!

It is Fury who is making him wait.

Fury would demolish mitchell with ease

But he better steer clear of Price!

Both over hyped. Mitchell would probably get KO'd. At least Fury beat Chisora, though Fury isn't that good either. I'm just not impressed with Mitchell at all and he looked lost against Witherspoon when he got hit with something big.

"People would be interest (sic) in seeing two undefeated heavyweights go in there and getting it on like the old days".

Yes we would be Tyson, like you vs David Price for example. Anyway, I'd really like to see Fury vs Mitchell, but whether fat Mick Hennessy has any interest is another matter. Or whether he has a licence to promote a fight in America yet.

Why should he go to US? There is no money and talent in US HW boxing.

Fury isn't on world level, he's at the same level as Price.

Price needs to step-up and Harrison is a good start...?

Stop talking out of your arse.

i have no idea why they would mention that. fighting price is a step backwards with little to gain from it. he will wait until the money & magnitude of this fight is much bigger. this fight will happen but we may have to wait another year. fury is looking at getting on HBO & fighting top contenders now while price is still looking at making a name for himself. a win over harrison will start his journey up the pecking order. fury has already beat several solid journeymen & has a win over a fringe contender in chisora. price has beat mcdermott & raphael butler to this point.

fury has beaten several tough journeymen & has already held the british & commonwealth titles. he now holds a world organization regional belt & has top 10 ranking. he also has beaten a fringe contender in chisora. price has beaten nobody & lost his TV deal in england while fury could be on his way to fighting on HBO & starting to get top contenders so why would he take a step backwards & fight price? fury is on world level while price is still in domestic & beating harrison is a good start since he is the toughest opponent price has faced yet & is a former european champion rather you like him or not.

there is money in heavyweights with the right promoter & event. NBC & HBO have been putting HW fights on the network again. adamek, mitchell, arreola have all been on HBO & now NBC is airing fights too. to really get recognized worldwide you need to get your name out there in the US.
