Can't help but reading these childish posts with such ****** insults. If Floyd still doesn't want to fight Pac in 2013 then that's his problem. Pac has to move on.

Unless Manny & floyd have something hidden that we dont know about they are both fools and neither one of them want the fight that bad in the first place. How exactly do we know that for sure? Floyd said he's not interested in fighting right now. Who knows how long "right now" is..

Remember when people were saying that Floyd's two newest roadblocks would be this "Fight must be at 154 or no fight!" and "Pac has to leave Arum or else no fight!"

Interesting how one of them is already becoming a reality....

I unfortunately wouldn't be surprised if we actually see this fight. These promotors are good at keeping the media and public at bay. I feel as if he's planting the seed of hype for this potential fight. Arum knows Pac is aging and that a real career ending loss could be coming soon. I believe that Arum and Mayweather genuinely dislike eachother, so I don't think he wants to give him the satisfaction of being the one to do that. I think Arum wants Pac to lose to someone in his stable in a convincing fashion before even considering a bout with Mayweather.

But I think that the media can play a big part in keeping these promotors honest and the public too.

I hope Im wrong. I hope it's a ploy to gain position in negotiating with Mayweather but I always expect the worst from Arum and he rarely proves me wrong.

bah Arums been trying to make a Rios-Pacquiao fight for a while now.. i remember during the Rios-Gamboa build up before that fight fell apart there was a lot of talk of Rios fighting pac if he wins... i guess arum is banking on rios to beat alvarado, but that wont be easy

The world can't simply stop the clock just to accommodate Mr Floyd's timeline. We don't even know if Mr Floyd will end up retiring because right now Canelo stands out in his timeline. He's supposed to announce his fight with Canelo, then talk about the Pac fight when the Alvarez fight is over. That's assuming Pac is included in his timeline.

Pac has a fight in December. Fans are supposed to be talking about Floyd's next fight.

Arum is so dumb that when he's trying to make Floyd look like he's ducking this fight 110%, he's already coming out with what he thinks will be Manny's next opponent. It's no coincidence that Margarito, Mosley, and Marquez all had the verbal agreement that they would be fighting Manny next, even before Manny's current bout was over.

if it takes six months and he wants to fight in May, why would he have to say anything now? Also, shade Manny has a fight scheduled 12/8. What if he loses the fight?

he may well lose the fight, its 50/50 imo.

floyd should be telling his fans that he is either retiring or actively seeking an opponent for whatever date. not sure if he keeps tabs on when certain fighters are available or not, but if he does, he knows pac intends to fight by april 20 next year. so then he can decide if he wants to fight then or if he doesnt. he might fancy a fight with bradley etc. either way, he could let his fans know what he plans to do boxing wise.

Why not? It would be a good way to pressure Mayweather into making the bout happen as opposed to having a list of people not named Mayweather lined up before the current fight even takes place.

He could just focus on politics until Mayweather decides to box again, that way nobody can interfere.
