Name some boxers who need to step up to better opposition

    I'll begin with heavyweights:

Deontay Wilder, Denis Boytsov, Alexander Povetkin, and Malik Scott.

I'm only listing fighters who I think could have big potential.

HW: Wilder, Scott, Boytsov, Perez, Jennings.
    LHW: Cleverly.
    SMW: Stevenson, Rodriguez, Oosthuizen.
    MW: Pirog.
    SWW: Alvarez, Andrade.
    WW: Thurman, Porter, Guerrero.
    JWW: Mayfield.
    LW: Gesta.
    SFW: D. Magdaleno
    FW: Fortuna, M. Garcia, Dib.
    SBW: Rigondeaux.

Jennings hasn't had a lot of fights yet and so isn't really yet ready to step up to the highest level.

But Wilder has been fighting low-level clubfighters and age 40 middleweights who have become pot-bellied heavyweights. By now, he should at least take on some decent journeymen like Gavern, Grant and Guinn.

Wilder, Golovkin, Broner and Rigondeaux IMO.

I think all 4 have good potential but need to be tested against better opposition than they have been fighting.

                Cleverly.

I was high on him a while back, but to be honest I haven't watched him fight since he got handed the title. Needs to step it up.

TheGreatA thinks Wilder is **** and that he will never amount to anything.

I think he has potential but I'm not sold on him at all.

I need to see how he handles adversity.
