If Floyd and Roy were the same size how do you see a fight going in their primes?

Floyd wins. Roy is faster p4p, he has that and better reflexes but floyd is fast enough p4p to hit him when roy doesnt have any defense and fights with his hands low. Floyd is miles better on the inside and on the ropes. Floyd is more well rounded and the level of competition was better in his divisions. Roy was more athletic but his style is not the type that bothers floyd. A great jab and good defense bother floyd. A good inside game and getting him on the ropes bother Roy as both hopkins and tarver had success with. Roy is more gifted athletically but style wise floyd has the advantage.

He was younger, but Floyd's quality fuxuates each fights. He gets better, or slows down. He was bad against Hatton and Oscar, but the Mayweather who fought JMM Was the best he had ever looked in his ww career. The Floyd who fought JMM Was faster, sharper, slicker, than the slow brawler who fought Judah. This is what you call a student of the game.

He just looked his best because JMM boxed him on the outside and couldnt close the distance and floyd schooled him easy. Judah he didnt open up enough the first few rounds and after roger told him to he fixed that and didnt loose another round after. DLH presented a tight defense and a good jab, which is what bothers floyd. Hatton was awkward because he has fast legs and likes to wrestle but after a few early rounds figuring him out floyd whooped his ass on the inside at hattons own game. He looks different every fight because he makes adjustments every fight and never fights the same.

That poll needs a "toss up" option.

Toney doesn't come close to matching Mayweather's foot speed, that's the biggest distinction between the two.

Roy ate technicians for lunch. While Floyd is phenomenal, that shoulder roll will get him wasted against a guy that leads off hooks.
You also have to remember that Floyd likes to pot shot: no way he catches Roy enough. Close but clear UD for Roy. K.O for Roy if Floyd talks too much **** in the pre fight.

I just dont see it the same way. Roy has a speed advantage p4p and power advantage but floyd never had an issue with power. Thats about all roy has, and he fights with his hands low and is going to be trying to land on someone with great defense and who also has very good p4p speed, I think floyd will be landing his counters. Roy was bothered by two of the better boxers he fought and floyd is versatile, if the shoulder roll doesnt work and thats an if, he will stop using it, like he did in the mosley fight and went with a high guard that he never used before. If straight rights dont work, he will try a looping right with he never used before but worked great on cotto. He had an uppercut for cotto as well that he never used much before either.

                  Good fight

Toss up fight!!! Roy was unorthodox so floyd would have to make adjustments. Roy had no jab tho. But he may overwhelm floyd. Floyd would have to dig deep. Good fight to imagine happening.
They both would have the best fighters each other fought.

This boils down to who out feints who and who has the faster feet but I'm biased so ill leave it at that.
