He is though, probably as big a fool as you will find.

Obviously no one knows whether or not he did it for sure but he does seem of a character just to admit it if he did it, e.g. the statement below

Now I'm not saying we shoudl just say **** the 1% - it's more of a travesty for an innocent man to be convicted, than it is for a guilty man to walk free. . .

Their have been studies done, and based on those studies, the chance of a man being falsely convicted, is rare. The odds are just heavily against it.

About the hitman scenario, I don't agree with that, but if you think that is commonplace then I believe you're mistaken. Police, and prosecutors will cut deals with lesser offenders, to get the big dogs, but I don't hear very often about them valuing a drug dealer over a murderer. Out of the millions, and millions of convictions, and informants, etc. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a lot of examples like that.

I just think your opinion about Tyson (not the CJ system) is biased because you're a big fan of Mike Tyson "the boxer" - so you will always believe Mike Tyson "the person.:
Come on man studies and stats can always be manipulated to make the agenda of the writer look true so that means absolutely nothing to me. If the system is about justice for all then cutting deals to let lesser criminals go free get the so called bigger criminals makes the whole system a joke. Cause where is the justice for the victim of the guy who committed the so called lesser crime? 99% of the people locked up are guilty yeah and pig fly too right?

Once again to the bold if you keep assuming something of me thats not true then we no longer need to keep having this discussion because you are talking with blinders on and have a bias as to what I am saying so your repsonses are clouded.

I just don't see anything that cries out "TYSON IS NOT GUILTY"!

Semantics - you're judged by a jury comprised of citizens. It's not perfect, but it's the best system that has been developed.

I'm convinced you're just a hardcore Tyson fan, like most are who blindly defend him. So debating you about this will be useless.

        "He called me a racpist, and a recluse. . . I'm not a recluse." - Mike Tyson. LOL. . .
What you call semantics is the system blatently lying cause the wording can be easily changed but its not because it looks better the way its written. Its not about the system being perfect its about the system being as fair as possible and that is not what we have. That can't be debated.

You are convinced because my opinion differs from yours but there is nothing that I have posted that would believe a non-biased person that I am hardcore fan of Tyson cause I'm not. I am hardcore believer that america's criminal justice system is full of sh+t and what I have seen of that system and the people who run it is why I feel that way. Men and women lie and in this case I just happen to believe that Desiree Washington is lying.

Mike was probably due a jail sentence for one thing or another he was one wild muther fucker after all! But he is an open book these days and i believe him when he says he is innocent of that crime. He openly admits how he used to mug old ladies ect.... Plus if u have heard the evidence in his trial it seems clear cut, i cant actually believe he was sent down for it if im honest!

On this Swearing on tv thing, i thought other than dropping a casual F bomb, he didnt really "snap", that he came across real well!

Still wondering why they keep bring this crap up. It's been about 20 years already.

Gotta love the media and these "anti-this" and "anti-that" groups who constantly proves to be nothing more than @ss clowns.

Leave the man alone, and be glad that he's gotten help along the way, and is able to contain himself nowadays.

I agree - he's served his prison time. He shouldn't have it brought up all the time.

However, other countries damn well reserve the right on who they let in their country.

So it's New Zealand's right to scrutinize Tyson before letting him come to their beautiful country. It's not like he's convicted of stealing a candy bar - he's a convicted rapist.

He should be thankful they let him in their country to do his thing, and make money.

It was obvious he was set up, that woman(who was one of the participants in a beauty pageant"Miss Black America") accepted an invitation from Tyson at 1:30 in the morning to meet him at the hotel lobby. Then she went with him to hang out in a limo & they ended up at another hotel("Canterbury") & she willingly(he didn't force her or anything)accompanied Tyson upstairs to his hotel room & there were no signs of force or that she resisted like ripped clothes, bruises or scratches on neither on of them..& she didn't immediately call the cops or accused Tyson of raping her.. & now there's poof that critical information was withheld from the jury; false information was given to the jury; evidence that the Defendant and her relatives lied to the court; false information was given to the jury regarding the Defendant's background.& Tyson & his lawyer also maintains that three eyewitnesses were not allowed to testify, whom his lawyer believes would have won the case for Tyson; and maintains that at least four of the jurors "urged" the court to give Tyson a new trial.

Man what fool really believes Mike ****d that broad? Mike has admitted all his drug use, violent abuse, criminal history...all his problems and faults, and yet he still refuses to admit he did this. Why wouldn't he if he did? He was already convicted and served time, he has no reason to lie. This chick went to Tyson's room at what 3am or some crap, in a bra and panties, and in a bathrobe? She wanted a payday, plain and simple. I am sick and tired of people bringing this up, Tyson did not **** that chick, give me a break. Since when do beauty pageant chicks show up in boxers hotel rooms at 3am wearing almost nothing...to just talk? This is ridiculous. He was young, aggressive, black boxer...so he was convicted before the trial started. Luckily the chick wasn't white or they would have buried his ass under the jail lol.

                    Iron Mike is the MAN!!

I Believe Tyson... And Here's The Reason Why!

The story is this girl went out that night with Tyson in his limo. They messed around in the car, everything consensual. Everyone was happy, then they went back to Tyson's hotel room. She didn't have to go; she chose to go. They messed around, had consensual sex, she spent the night. Early the next morning she is up, singing and dancing in the bathroom doing her hair. She asked Mike if he'd wake up and walk her down to the limo, and he responded, "No, he needed a bit more sleep, before he left town that day". She got p***ed off, now feeling "used" from the night before, and stormed out of his hotel room, with a vendetta in mind, claiming "foul". Don King sets Tyson up with a tax attorney, rather than a top trial attorney, and Tyson had no chance to win that case. From very credible sources, that's the story that took place. Had Tyson got out of bed, walked her down to the car, returned to his room and back to bed, none of that would have happened to Tyson. So when these TV stations interview and continue to bring that incident up, I'm sure it becomes growingly more painful for him to hear, when he paid his price, cost him worldwide humiliation to start with, he's turned his life around, striving to be a good husband and father, and these rubes living back in the day still want to labor you down with that painful questions of that night.
