Pavlik was also bigger than Sergio and had never lost at 160.

Martinez has been fighting bigger guys for years now. He'll go back to 154 where he feels he should be, which is also where the opponents he wants happen to be fighting...Sergio is not asking anybody to move up a division, just fight in the weight class they are in.

Martinez actually fought and was a champ at 154 so maybe he still can do 154. Fact of the matter is that none of us know for sure. Moving up to 168 to fight Ward is suicide. Chavez Jr and Pavlik were/are bigger than Martinez so just imagine Ward who is naturally bigger than them. No matter how much Martinez walks around on his personal time. chavez and pavlik are a lot slower than Martinez. Ward is bigger, stronger, and just as fast. Sergio would get punished and the fight wouldn't even sell out the oakland arena.

I just was speaking from reading the other posts. I just find it funny that all. My bad if you got offended or confused. Floyd would probably put up a good fight but Martinez is athletic, fast, a south paw and great conditioning who can adjust to win fights. Floyd is technically the more sound boxer but Martinez is stronger and I think he could pull it off if he didn't get sloppy.
