    As reported earlier, on Wednesday afternoon I caught up with trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. inside of Johnny Tocco’s Boxing Gym in Las Vegas, as he confirmed to me that he has been in discussions with Victor Ortiz and his team about training the former welterweight champion in the near future.

    Ortiz is coming off of a disheartening loss to Josesito Lopez on June 23rd in which he suffered two fractures on the right side of his jaw before opting not to come out for the ninth round. One fight prior, Ortiz was seen getting knocked out in bizarre fashion in the fourth round of his bout with Mayweather’s son Floyd Jr. at the MGM Grand. [Click Here To Read More]

          Victor just need's a trainer that will teach him how to JAB before loading up on his power shot's, a set of balls would help too.

                  I was a big fan of Roger Mayweather during his boxing career.

                  Even through his 1st & 2nd round kayo losses, I still cheered him on.

                  He & his family are very classy people & you can always rely on them to provide thoughtful & intelligent insights.

                      He showed plenty of balls during the Berto fight. He is a bit of an enigma though.

                              ortiz should hook up with freddie roach and work on that winning punch. defense is a number one priority to protect that glass chin of his.
