the new settlement document that was provided here had terms!!!

term #3 was that each party was responsible for their own legal fees!!

so what your saying is that they just put that each is responsible for their own legal fees just to fill emty space on the paper??

what does each party is responsible for their own legal fees mean? maybe i read it wrong!!

      nice try
      smart guy!!!
I am no lawyer, but just to explain in plain simple languages about how a settlement case gets done... A few years back i sued a big real state company for their failure to develop a certain up-scale beach property that i bought from them.. Actually everybody who bought a piece of that large beach front property sued that company because of their failure to keep on their promise to develop the said property in said amount of time... So after how many years of waiting, we won the case, so the company has no choice but to settle... But for us to settle, we have to consider the exact amount of money that we paid already for the said property, the accumulated interest of that said amount over the years since we first sued them, and the LEGAL damages that we have to intact in the said complain... Ofcourse it went back and forth, proposing and counter proposing, in the end i have to shoulder part of my lawyers fee just to get it done right away. But that's just a small price to pay if you have to consider the large interest that they have to pay me on top of what they owe me initially.... So in Manny's case where in it said "each party is responsible for their own legal fees" is normal, considering the Mayweather's were being sued for the moral, mental and financial damages that they inflicted on Manny because of those accusations. Imagine just for one count, lost financial opportunities, in terms of supposedly lost endorsement deals of Manny, how much money will the Mayweathers have to pay to settle that... and Manny sued Floyd jr., Floyd sr. and uncle Roger...

Floyd and his worshipers don't belong in civil countries like America. They will drag the whole country 100 years back with anarchy and misery.
america is no better than the middle east, wankers going around shooting each other because they are depressed

Neither Williams nor Margarito beat anyone of worth at the time of Floyd's retirement, nice try, if he'd a fought either of those guys, you would of cried of how inexperienced they were, and that's the only reason Floyd won. Cotto already admitted that he was not ready for a Floyd fight in the past, catch up. And anyone who's been following boxing over the past decade knows that Floyd was calling Shane out since 1999. He never got a chance that early due to his small name, but even when he became #1 P4P in like 2005, Shane still wanted no parts of em.

Again, remove Floyd's testes from you mouth, it's not a good look. Floyd's apology is stated right in the article, do you need me to read it for you? I know you people aren't very smart.
You idiot, no where in that article does it read "Floyd apologized to Manny"....as far as Cotto, he already admitted he wasn't ready for Floyd in the past. Margarito that beat who? Paul Williams that beat who? And he ducked a Pacquiao that waited 2 years after negotiations to agree to all drug testing protocol? Dude bye.

Your just a hater that no matter who they fight they would be ducklng somebody in your eyes if you disliked them , you wouldnt be bias would you lol .

                    i know right?

kinda stings to be a floyd fan right now. its really sad that in the future floyd ducking fights that mattered when it mattered will be a common knowledge, regardless of how a floyd fan dispute it. tsk tsk tsk.

casual fans, hardcore fans even those who are directly involved in the sport will see this way.

team money may took back whatever they said against pac.

There was no "1st judgment for mayweather to pay 113k"--that was a discovery sanction. Huge difference. Second, the "each side to pay their own legal fees" language is standard in almost every settlement agreement I've ever done. I've seen it in settlements where the settlement amount was in the nine and even ten figures (for the slow--hundreds of millions or billions of dollars).

The clearest evidence that Floyd capitulated here (other than his refusal to be deposed) is the apology. You don't give public apologies unless compelled to in the settlement. Floyd would have avoided that at all costs if he could have, but it was necessary to bring this to a close.
He was deposed. And that statement does not sound like an apology.
