Dropping the case is a win for Pacquiao? How? He was the one who filed the case in the first place. If anything the case being dropped is a win for Mayweather. And the judge dropped the whole attorneys fees sanction and required both parties to pay their own attorneys fees. Lol at Micheal Konz trying to say that he doesn't know if this will make "Floyd feel better". I guess that's Pacquiao's teams way of trying to say that the lawsuit was not holding up the fight. When anyone with any common sense would be able to ascertain that there's no way one can be suing someone while simultaneously entering into a contractual business agreement with them. But at this point, Pacquiao, Koncz, Arum and to a degree Freddie Roach have all shown that using deception to portray an image of a benevolent Manny Pacquiao and a malevolent Mayweather is something that they would not shy away from doing.

Did you ever think that being an exceptionally talented undefeated boxer with unmatched skills in any division hes been in since he turned pro might be the reason hes always the "overwhelming favorite". Maybe the fact that hes again an "Undefeated" 8 time champion in 5 weightclasses that doesn't use catchweights to win higher weightclass titles by not allowing the opponent to fight at the actual weight limit that the title belt represents.

Floyd, like any other undefeated champion, doesn't believe anyone in boxing has a "chance of winning" against him because no one has shown the ability to do so throughout his 16 year career

Lets go! Cotto(37W-30KO-2L) WBA JMW champ 75% of his wins by KOs. His only two loses were to a cheater(Margs) and to another guy, mayweather believed was cheating, and at a catchweight! Floyd fought a Cotto coming off 3 stoppage wins, with one being a redemption stoppage over the guy that gave him his first loss, for a 154lb title at a weight Floyd had only fought once before...

Victor Ortiz WBC WW champion (29W-2L-22KOs) 76% of wins by KO. At that time Ortiz had never been in a fight where his opponent didn't touch the canvas. He was a southpaw, which people say Floyd has problems with southpaws. He had a 10 year age advantage 24yrs vs. 34yrs old. He was coming off a FOTY UD win over an "undefeated" champ(Berto)

Shane Mosely(46W-5L-39KOs) also came into their fight with a 75% off his wins by stoppage! He was coming off a 9th rd KO over one of the most feared boxers in the sport, Margarito the current WBA Super World JMW champ.

Juan Marquez(50W-4L-37KOs) current WBO/WBA lightweight champ 74% of wins by stoppage! He was the current #2 P4P in the world by Ring Magazine.Coming off a 9th rd KO victory. Marquez challenged Floyd at a catchweight(144lbs) that benefited Marquez being that Floyd was coming off an "18 month layoff" and hadn't weighed in under 146 in 4 years. He was also coming off 2 KO victories. Plus a load of competitive experience against a prime Manny Pacquiao in which he controversially drawed and lost a split decision.

Ricky Hatton(43W-0L-31KOs) 72% of wins by KO. Coming off a 4th rd KO victory over "Jose Castillo" a guy anti-Mayweather fans say Floyd lost to in his 1st UD win over Castillo. Hatton was "undefeated" and had won a full 147lb WW title the year before.

De la Hoya(38W-4L-30KOs) current 154lb WBC JMW champ 79% of wins by stoppage. Oscar was 34 Floyd was 30. No big age difference!
De la Hoya was coming off a KO victory and had the advantage of weighing in at the full weight limit of his title belt(154lbs) against a smaller Floyd who had never competed at that weight before. De la Hoya also chose the gloves and ring size for the bout.

Thats the last five years of Mayweather's opponents. All legitimate title holders at the time they fought and all coming off big wins prior to fighting Floyd.

"History" has only shown that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has continued to defeat top level competition at relevant times in their careers, which is the reason he continues to be the "overwhelming favorite"

It's a lot of text, but one thing caught my eye, so I'm gonna make a public service announcement:

Dude Ortiz is a bum. He has 1 solid win in 5 tries, and that sole win came at a catchweight. You suppose his opponent was drained, hence the anomaly?

You know, I haven't been paying attention the settlement because, after reading several posts here, I assumed Mayweather was told to give Pacquiao some obscene amount of money. Wait a minute...they settled before going to trial? You mean to tell me, Manny Pacquiao took him to court just so he could get him to stop implying he was juicing??????????????????????????? Wow.
