He still lands punches, but not with the power he once did

You only have to look at Tims face and Cottos face after the fight
cotto fought pac. and pac got damaged too.

bradley didnt fought pac the way cotto did. look at pac face after the fight.

Nothing near the "10s of millions" that you said. I'd be very shocked if it was even a 1 million settlement which in this case would be a win, since legal fees for running a case cost over that generally. You can google individual cases if you want, I'm not going to link them all... but unless you're an actual lawyer or looked this **** up... please refrain from posting like an idiot.
There's been plenty of defamation suits that resulted in verdicts where the defendant had to payout tens of millions of dollars. Examples:

(From just a few days ago, maybe Floyd's side was shook by this and the ruling they had to pay Pac's legal fees)
Joe Francis Hit With $20M in Punitive Damages in Steve Wynn Slander Case

A Los Angeles jury that awarded $20 million to billionaire casino mogul Steve Wynn in his slander suit against "Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis this evening doubled the award with another $20 million in punitive damages.

'Anonymous' Posters to Pay $13 Million for Defamatory Comments

A Texas couple who filed a defamation lawsuit over three years ago against anonymous posters on the Internet forum Topix.com won a $13.8 million judgment from a jury.

Mark and Rhonda Lesher of Clarksville, Texas, filed a suit against anonymous commenters who accused them of being sexual deviants, ******ers, and drug dealers on Topix, once self-described as "the country's largest local forum site."

Pacquiao's side was seeking... Petrocelli said the damages being sought are "in the tens of millions." (http://******.craveonline.com/blog/1...iao-deposition)

We may never know what the final payout will be, but it must be a nice sum if Mayweather was looking at paying out 'tens of millions' and decided to settle, and Pac was happy with the amount. I'd imagine it's definitely over a mil, especially considering the deposition legal fees alone were over 100K. But like I said, we may never know.

Good post and you're right. Though settling I don't think its 10s of millions, I said barely a million and I think that's about right, but you may never know. Mainly because those are jury awarded cases that went to court is what I base this on. A settlement is a whole different ballgame than a court outcome.
