Pac "was" on something, however i believe he is as clean as can be now, hope he gets it on with Floyd. I note he stopped making excuses about beng scared of needles, being drained, testing being against his religion...funny that
Manny never said he was scared of needles. You're just another worthless poster who knows nothing of what he speaks.

Keep trying to convince yourself that Floyd isn't pay Pacquiao. The settlement is most likely in the tens of millions. Check with any lawyer that knows about defamation suits.

I just hope paying Pacquiao will motivate Floyd to make the fight happen! Get some of that money back. If the fight never happens, then Floyd will be seen as the ducker while Pacquiao is sitting on millions that used to belong to Floyd.

I don't think Pacquiao did, but Arum definitely did. Pacquiao did say that drawing blood makes him weak and since mayweather was bigger than him drawing blood won't effect him as much... which is also a terrible excuse. Take your pick.

And what Lawyer have you spoken too? Settlement is essentially an agreement between both parties no man in their right mind would agree to pay the other parties 10s of millions when the amount awarded if the case was saw through to the end in court would be far less.

Really frustrates me when idiots who have no understanding of the law run their mouths off.

So basically the Mayweathers finally admitted what anyone with basic common sense knew 3 years ago- they were talking out of their asses without a single shred of evidence when they made up lies and pulled a smoke and mirror, wild goose chase all in an elaborate ruse to avoid seeing Pacquiao in the ring.

Thank you for finally coming clean and admitting it guys

Just because I was bored I googled the payouts of defamation suit costs. Generally they make very little money in terms of damages, even if they're incredibly damaging. Nothing near the "10s of millions" that you said. I'd be very shocked if it was even a 1 million settlement which in this case would be a win, since legal fees for running a case cost over that generally. You can google individual cases if you want, I'm not going to link them all... but unless you're an actual lawyer or looked this **** up... please refrain from posting like an idiot.

For all we know the settlement could have been 1 dollar. That is fine though. I believe Pacquiao really only wanted a retraction and apology. He got what he wanted. Floyd got to put it behind him, so he got what he wanted. Corrections were made and life moves on. Hopefully, if we are lucky, both camps will stop playing games and finally give the sport and fans what it wants.
